Northern Ireland Sailing Team sailor Bobby Driscoll delivered a strong performance at the Youth World Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal in December. Competing in a tough international fleet of 57 sailors, Bobby delivered consistent racing across nine demanding races, including two top-ten finishes.
Bobby’s best result came in the final race with a 7th place finish, and he secured 18th overall: a fantastic achievement on the world stage for the young sailor.
Competing at this level gives valuable experience and insight, and the Northern Ireland Sailing Team congratulates Bobby on his performance and continued progression.
